“Real Boats Rock”

It’s an old saying in the restaurant industry, and something to remember when experts are touting their decades of success in business.
Success is not a story worth telling when everything goes right, when there were no obstacles, when conditions were perfect and the right people supported.
They also say that expertise equals 10,000 hours of professional experience. My 10K hours is comprised of successes and failures, as well as
years of working in toxic environments.
That experience is what I bring to the table.

User Experience design and Implementation

It’s not just about software and social media. Every customer experience is an opportunity to grab the attention of more customers or clients. Since so many businesses are getting this wrong, it means that any small change could mean big results.

How do your staff manage customer interactions? What do your customers see first when they enter your store? Does your website or social media draw them to your store? A quick checkup could save or make you money.

Communication & Process Management

In some businesses there are more moving parts than are obvious, or disclosed. Other times there are more influences than it seems at first. An unsuspecting owner/investor or operator will be allowed to assume that it all comes back to them. It may even be true- up to the point that you can’t detect who is lying, who doesn’t act in good faith, or who is secretly helping you fail.

The number of times internal competitions have wrecked what should be a profitable enterprise is more than surprising. The same can be said of petty sabotages, manipulations without any real purpose, lying, cheating and stealing.

You need the voice of experience; You want to hear from APEX Deployment, because I know what to do before it ever gets that bad, and how to turn it around after it does.

Leadership & Change Management

The current dialogue about leadership is full of advice, some good, most not so much. I’ve been following this dialogue for more than a decade now and, as someone trained in psychology, stats and research (not to mention effective management and leadership), I can say with confidence that almost nobody can explain why leadership works or why it does not.

Without that critical knowledge, so many business owners go through a race to the bottom, as other influences compete to be a part of- or control- your narrative of the business. When it’s not an endless cycle, it can be a depressing experience. It could seem like failure.

I have no boring lectures about leadership, just practical ways for you to keep your business on point, on your terms.

REgional Focus, Global reach

As a small operator myself, I don’t work on the scale of Amazon, or Pfizer. Living and working among other small businesses means my own prosperity is tied to theirs.

It follows that, if I understand the market, and have ways for small regional/local businesses to compete with large corporate entities and big box stores, then I should provide that intel.

Well here it is: There are ways. There is no need to reinvent the wheel. It doesn’t need to cost a fortune. And- other companies are already doing it.
